"Cars" is my favorite Pixar movie. Kitty (the Blue car) is based off a picture of a 1950's Jaguar I found online.
In the movie, Mater (the truck) refers to a girl truck he likes; he says she looked like a Jaguar, but she was actually a truck. I like to imagine this scene is Mater's dream come true.
It's Prismacolor pencils on Bristol board. There is a touch of acrylic paint.
I'm giving this to my friend, who is turning 9 years old today.
